A Series Classic Mini 7 Port Crossflow Aluminium Cylinder Head. Fitted with large race valves (36mm inlet and 32mm exhaust), bronze guides and unleaded seats. The valves are Minispares C-Aeg544 and exhaust valves are C-Aeg 107. Porting work has been carried out to the head to remove steps and imperfections left during the casting. This is a Pierce casting which was then modified by Vintage Minis in Holland. This was fitted with twin Weber 45's on to a well built 1380 and produced approx 135bhp when rolling road tuned by Regency Autos earlier this year (see rolling road print out above). Classic Mini 12G940 Cylinder Head 11 Stud Modified Ported etc

12G940 Modified 11 stud cylinder head. It's a MK3 S/1300 GT casting with the 12G1805 number (has been ground off for unknown reason) and letter'K' stamped next to the thermostat housing. It's been modified but i'm unsure who did the work. The head has been fully ported, all valve throats ground out and smoothed. The valves have replaced with stainless steel REC valves (35 mm inlet, 29 mm exhaust) along with bronze valve guides. I've roughly measured the chambers, and they're about 23cc. The thickness of the head is 70.5 mm. All threads are good and none have been repaired/helicoiled. The bypass hose takeoff has been removed and needs blanking…
