This is a 1978 YZ250E cylinder & head. It correctly fits & works on the 1978 & 1979 YZ250 & the 1979 IT250F. Picked this bike up in pieces. And some moron broke off two fins on this standard bore low hour cylinder with some really nice porting. I received the larger of the two broken off pieces with the cylinder. Can be welded back on. Makes me sick to see vintage parts damaged like this. A hammer with a piece of pine wood used in the intake & exhaust areas would have taken a minute or two longer to break the cylinder loose.
