This is a 12G940 head with correct Cooper S big valves, double springs and has been ported. The valve sizes are 35.5inlet 29.2 exhaust, so big valve head. 12G940 PORTED Cylinder Head. This cylinder head has been in my possession for many years from way back in my racing mini days. My wife is fed up with it all. I have removed the valves and given them a light grinding in and fitted new stem seals to freshen it up. It is a nine stud, double valve spring 12g940 with 29mm exhaust and 33mm inlet valves. Classic Mini 12G940 Cylinder Head 11 Stud Modified Ported etc

12G940 Modified 11 stud cylinder head. It's a MK3 S/1300 GT casting with the 12G1805 number (has been ground off for unknown reason) and letter'K' stamped next to the thermostat housing. It's been modified but i'm unsure who did the work. The head has been fully ported, all valve throats ground out and smoothed. The valves have replaced with stainless steel REC valves (35 mm inlet, 29 mm exhaust) along with bronze valve guides. I've roughly measured the chambers, and they're about 23cc. The thickness of the head is 70.5 mm. All threads are good and none have been repaired/helicoiled. The bypass hose takeoff has been removed and needs blanking…
